Despite the enormous benefit of the internet in general and social media in particular, they still come with a negative side of the cyber bullies.
Award-winning songstress, Busiswa recently became the target of these miserable trolls as she was the subject of nasty comments over a lingerie ad which she featured in.
At the time, Kalawa Chikita as she is fondly referred to had taken to social media platform, Instagram, to share an image of the campaign with other models with an inspiring post bothering on self-appreciation.
“Where would I be if I told myself I’m not good enough to be on TV? To model lingerie? To occupy billboards? To be a leader in my field? 👂🏾 I don’t know who needs to hear this but it’s 2019 honey, be your #TrueSelf. #iAmMe,” she wrote at the time.
Unfortunately, despite the appreciation of several loyal fans, there were still a bunch of negatives who simply body-shamed the “Summer Life Album” mastermind.
Only thing is Busiswa is now standing up to these haters as she took to the same platform to express her thoughts.
This way, she shared a video where she addressed the situation as well as captioned the visual of her thoughts with the post:
“I have some things to get off my chest so let me go off for a minute. A few months ago I jumped on an ad campaign for lingerie with Ackermans SA and as expected a lot of people had a lot to say. This sums up what I have to say about it all. My comments section is open and it’s here for us to talk.”
